  1. Evaluating Sixth Grade
What would you tell someone entering sixth grade?
  2. Mythological Gods and Goddesses Weblog
Assume the identity of an immortal Greek or Roman God or Goddess. Or you may choose to be a mortal being who has been affected by the gods because you exhibited hubris, excessive pride, or had some other conflict with the gods. Base your selection on what each god or goddess is in charge of, what symbols they are represented by, and any similarities you think you might have with the god or goddess. Feel free to comment on what your day was like, who made you mad, brought you joy, etc. Also, as other gods/goddesses/or mortals write comments, feel free to write to them. For example, if Zeus, becomes very angry and makes it rain everyday, then perhaps Demeter (Ceres) might comment that she would like him to get over his anger and let the sun shine so the crops can grow. She might ask why he is so upset. Use your imagination and creativity. This is the place to text message one another.
  3. 2009 Student Myths
Write an explanatory myth, creation myth, mythological monster story, or fable. Use your imagination. If you write a mythological monster story, feel free to draw this creature and submit it along with the story.
